This work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution International License (CC BY). /licenses/by/4.0/ Open Access Abstract At present, the difference between peak and valley of China’s power grid is increasing day by day, Lack of peaking capacity of the boiler unit to which lead to safe operation of boiler cannot run in low load stable combustion, etc. Aiming at this problem, based on the theory of stable combustion of pulverized coal and the relevant theory of operation optimization of power station boiler, the influence of coal quality variation, load change, air distribution mode and excess air coefficient on the combustion in the furnace is analyzed. In the case of 600 MW unit boiler combustion in differ- ent conditions, the optimum operating parameters are obtained, which can make the boiler burn steadily and improve the efficiency of the boiler.
