With the rapid deterioration of chemical pollution ; people show their great concern about the drivking water . Though the government has taken the sewage disposal methods , they often bring little effect , high cost , and some other shortcomings . However , with the development of tech -nology , nanotechnology ,such as ,nanofiltration membrane provides a new access to clean water. This paper is in reference on the previous studies of nanotechnology and its application in water treatment. And it also concludes the great advantages of nanotechnology in the process of purifying drinking water and help to find the better way to apply it nationwide, especially in some areas where the technology is undeveloped.
