M ethods M ultinom ial logistic regressionw as used to evaluate life satisfaction and its influence on anx iety disordersamong adolescents. Results ORs( odds ratio) form ild and severe anx iety disordersof the ado lescents decreasedw ith the increasing of their life satisfaction ( 5 factorsand the total life satisfaction), and the dose- effect tendency was significant. Among the studentsw ith lower life satisfaction( 0-P ),OR for severe anx iety disorderswas 25 higher than that ofm inor anx iety disorders. The relevant factorsw ithm ild anxiety disordersw ere school satisfaction(OR = 1667) , self satisfaction (OR = 1478) and friends satisfaction (OR = 1466) . Conclusion The enhancement of life satis- faction ishelpful to decrease the risk of anxiety disorders in adolescents.
