Teaching Objective 2 Language knowledge: A. Help students get familiar with key expressions for ARTICULATING and LINKING ideas. B. Help students prepare for the introduction both in the properly WRITTEN and SPOKEN styles. Teaching Objective 3 Conference practice Help students DESIGN (draft), RHEARSE and DELIVER their introductions in an organized way. Application tactics for teaching 1) INPUTTING enough information (by using illustrations, video clips, word lists, etc.)for student to realize the importance of linking material in an orderly and organized way. 2) establishing INTERACTIVE circumstances for practice, which includes: a. grouping them for BRAINSTORMING ideas on a better organized sequence for a presentation, b. letting them discuss and COMPARE the different versions of the video clip.
