屏東教育大學學報-人文社會類 第三十三期 年 月 頁 － 2009 9 1 26 臺灣閩南語上聲字之吟式研究 陳茂仁 摘要 吟詩為體現詩歌聲韻與音樂美之最佳方式，而欲如實傳達詩意， 明確地以詩作用字之聲調去吟為不二法門，否則出字倒調，音別而義 殊，詩意盡去，更遑論聲情之繞樑多姿。吟詩之方式，深深影響詩作 聲情之傳顯，不同之吟式，更直捷左右詩作音樂性感染力之強弱。以 閩南語吟詩，除須留意四聲之分外，更須注重陰陽之別，其中於上聲 字之展現，以其調值為高降之特色，尤為重要。今之習者或套吟古調， 或自創新調，多以一調套吟眾詩，或以時曲唱詩，凡此皆易產生倒調； 或者知須忠於字調，然為吟式之多變美聽卻也常為人所忽，以致倒調 時見。以閩南語最近於唐代語音，是以今見出版或采置網路提供耹賞 者，多以閩南語為之，今此小文，即以閩南語為吟詠媒介，由上聲字 之特色談起，接及近代前輩對上聲字之處理方式，最末則將上聲字之 特色與吟唱方式配合，提出上聲字之吟式變化。歸其吟式，略有：基 本調式、單音式、基本調再揚升式、基本調再下降式、基本調再升降 式、揚升式、揚升再降式、遞升再重複音收結式等，而各式又或多或 少細分出更多之小類，文中一一舉例說明 ，冀望於文字之外，能更真 實地顯現上聲字吟式之變化，以供學習者參考。 關鍵詞：上聲、四聲、吟式、吟詩、閩南語、聲調 陳茂仁：國立嘉義大學中國文學系副教授 投稿日期：2008 年 05 月 07 日，接受日期：2009 年 02 月 20 日 2 屏東教育大學學報-人文社會類 第三十三期 On the Styles of Recitation of Rising Tone in Taiwan Southern Min Mao-Jen Chen Abstract Recitation is the best way to demonstrate the rhyme and the beauty of musicality of poetry. To faithfully express the meanings of a poem, accurate recitation is the only way. Mispronunciation of tones will not only render a poem meaningless but also undermine the beauty of the sounds of a poem. Recitation affects deeply the expression of sounds and meanings of a poem. Recitation also determines the appeal of a poem. In addition to differentiating four tones, when reciting a poem in Southern Min, more attention should be paid to the distinction of voicing. To accurately recite rising tone, it is important to ensure continuous falling after the tone is pronounced. Nowadays, the reciters of poetry either utilize historical tones or create new tones.
