The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional culture festival which is popular both in China and in many East Asian countries. In order to celebrate the harvest and to express the joyful, farmers made this day as a holiday.;There’re also some people said the Mid-Autumn Festival began at the end of the Sui dynasty, when Peiji invented moon cakes and successfully solved the problem of ration shortage due to absorb huge numbers of Sui rebels.;In ancient times, there’re many traditional activities at Mid-Autumn Festival. People used to eat moon cakes and crabs and drink sweet osmanthus wine under the moon.
