However, flippancy and mammonish social atmosphere leads to a increasing number of the forged design which lack of thoughts、ideas、souls and human-caring. In order to attain a virtuous circle, exhibit design needs to adjust development direction, and the concept of the emotional design emerged in this condition, and followed by the humanity design and experience design and so on, these concept are based on the satisfaction of the human affection need. Although emotional design obtain the identification of the public, but the specialty research and theory achievements on this concept is still defective. How to apply emotional design in exhibit design and how to guide exhibit design through the concept of the emotional design becoming the bottleneck of the theoretical research ,this paper discuss the theory of the emotional design and the emotional design practice in the display design, analyse current situation of the theory and rationality, provide a theoretical foil and support. This paper analysis and investigation the emotional design key point in the exhibit design, combined with plenty of examples for explore the basic characteristics and principles of the emotional design, and merged plenty of psychology and anthropology for discussion, provides the theoretical support of the emotional design in the exhibit design.
