Abstract:T atical data link system is an infor matio n system combining communicat ions, navigation and identif ication,

intended to ex change surveillance and command and control ( C ) info rmat ion among various C platfo rms and w eapons platfor ms
to carr y out varied missions of each ser vice. T atical data link terminals operate in the 960 ~ 12 15 M Hz band, w hich is r eserv ed
on a w orldw ide basis for the saf e operation of aeronaut ical radionavig ation equipment . T he tatical data link system must be
planned car efully before the operation . Ho w ever sev eral restr ictio ns or limitat ions must be placed on oper at ions . T he typical
constraints among diff erent platform s are discussed in this paper. T hen the tatical data link planning problems are modeled.
F inally a greedy alg orithm is described .
