∗ The Emulation System Based On the Simulative Signal Controller and the VISSIM ZhouYongshun Zhuzhong Yang Yajun FengYuanhong Hisense Transtech Co.Ltd, QingDao 266071,China Abstract: VISSIM is a microscopic, time step and behavior based simulation model developed to model urban traffic and public transit operations. However, in practical applications and research, a lot of traffic control algorithms and logic which live in the signal controller, and the entire network of real-time traffic conditions are difficult to directly and effectively reflect in the VISSIM tool. The user cannot directly find the various statistical data when the VISSIM run out, so that users cannot quickly verify, decision-making or improve traffic algorithm. Therefore this paper establishes a bridge between the signal system and simulation system to solve the above problems, and outputs the simulation results to, thus verify traffic control algorithms and logic.
