All kinds of coal mine machinery undergo high stress for long term in moisture, dust circumstances, therefore, fatigue cracks, corrosion and other defects will occur easily and it’s possible to result in severe accident. The key technical problems of nondestructive testing for in service key components of coal mine machinery were discussed. Nondestructive testing strategy was proposed for the characteristics of the casting parts, welding parts and forgings. All these study is significant for predictive maintenance of coal mine equipment and coal mine safety production.
