Abstract The actinomycetes strains were screened from Zhanhua dong zao cultivation plots. An actinomycete strain had strong inhibition activity to Alternaria tenuissima was screened by agar block method. Then it was classified and identified. The study aimed at searching antagonistic actinomycetes and evaluating their potential in biocontrol of Black Spot disease in Jujube. Main contents and results of the study were listed as follows: Microbial quantity and nutrient in the soil with different character of Zhanhua dong zao cultivation plots were studied. The result indicated that the surface of root soil was markedly more favorable to microbe in the soil ，which represented root domino effect. As agricultural utilization degree increased ，the microbial number increased. In this area ，bacteria were main members of microorganisms ，followed by actinomyces，fungi. All the members of actinomyces strains were complex ones. And the streptomyces can be divided into nine florae. The nutrient in clay soil was higher than that in sandy soil ，but bacteria ，actinomyces，fungi and microbial quantity in sandy soil were higher than those in clay soil ，because sandy soil is well ventilated and generally advantageous to the growth of microorganisms ，it shows that there were many factors affecting the growth of soil microbes. 520 actinomycetes strains were isolated from Zhanhua Dong Zao cultivation plots. Eight strains of actinomycetes with antagonism were screened from the isolated actinomycetes by agar block method.
