The FSI seismic analysis for FBR core assemblies

Abstract:Safety evaluation under the earthquake of assembly is one of the most important
issues, which is paid great attention by NationalNuclear Safety Administratioin.Inthepaper,
firstly, the mode and seismic responses of one row assemblies are researched by the finite
element method CAST3 .By comparison, the FSI influence is very notable.Based on this,
considering the FSI influence, the dynamic responses of 2D one row assemblies under the
horizontal seismic load are researched, and the displacement and impact force between
assemblies are calculated, which will offer input for structural integrity estimate, and
important referenced meaning for CDFR design.
