The followings demonstrate that satellite applications in two main extreme and disastrous weather systems, mesoscale convective systems and typhoons. 3 II. Mesoscale Convective Systems (MCSs) Motivation: To foresee a MCS’ formation and development in Mei-Yu season. 4 Liu et al.
