To make a smooth transfer, the following schedules and arrangements have been made: 1. School Recommendation Chart. The school has prepared a chart that tells you which new textbook grade your child should be on next semester based on his/her current textbook grade. The chart will be distributed to each student this Saturday (5/11). School curricula for the new textbooks are also prepared for your reference. You may obtain a copy of the curricula from the office (Room 210). 2. Teacher’s Recommendation. The teacher of your child will give a recommendation about the grade to your child this Saturday. The teachers make the recommendation based on their judgement. You know your child most so the final decision will be yours. 3. Communication Meeting on 5/18. To help parents to make decision, there will be a school communication meeting on 5/18 at 10:00 AM in the cafeteria about this issue. In the meeting, we would like to explain in details why we decide to make this textbook change and how to make a right decision for your child. We will also answer questions from the parents. 4. Registration for Next School Year. Registration for next school year (2002-2003) will start on May 18 in Room 104 after the communication meeting. A $10 late fee will be charged for the current students registered afte
