China The production of agri-food needs complete chains, containing producing (planting, breeding), processing, transporting, storing, selling, cooking, etc, in which the production and circulation of agri-food take an important position. It includes the whole supply links of agri-food, from the supply of agricultural input materials, the production of primary agri-food, the processing, and the circulation to the sales of agri-food. If it is polluted in the course and becomes unsafe, it will produce something unfavorable to human body’s health. China is the biggest producing and consuming country of agri-food at present. The agri-food’s quality safety issue is more important and urgent at the moment than any time before. Thus, it is of the practical significance to research in the field of the safety of agri-food in production and circulation. Ⅰ.Impacts on agri-food safety by production and circulation. The agri-food comes from plants, livestock and poultry and aquatics. It always has the chance to be polluted, and the pollution has many kinds of modes, resources and ways .It may be polluted in the links of production or circulation, and become unsafe ones. The link of production In the producing (planting, breeding) course of agri-food, the environment of producing, the input materials and the management of producing are the crucial factors that influence the safety of agri-food. (1). The environment of producing. The environment plays a decisive role in the safe production of agri-food. The irrational letting of “three wastes” of the industry and the misuse of pesticide, both will result in the pollution of air, water, soil and animals and plants and make the agri-food unsafe. The pollution of environmental toxin, that is, chemical pollution, is the main impact on agri-food safety
