The English term “phasor” is derived from the phase. phasor It is recommended to the American Institute of Electrical Engineers by Edward Bennett, Professor of the department of 1960 electrical engineering, University of Wisconsin-Madison, during the period of August 1941-March 1944. Before the term phasor is suggested, such terms as the rotating vector, vector 1961 8 and sinor are used to represent the sinusoid quantities. “Xiàngliàng” seems to be paraphrased from phasor and means the quantity having phase. “Xiàngliàng” is possibly proposed by Lin H
