From the perspectíve of the social and economic set- tings , the emergence of early Korean academies reflects on a new educational trend shifting from centraliza- tion to decentralization of state power , caused by a change in land ownership and management. Confucian Theory on Gong{u serves as a special idea that strengthens the education in academies. And the combined theory of the philosophy of the mind and Orthodoxy exerts a great influence on the formation of the major features of early academies. The relationship between enjoying of sacrificial offering and holding lectures shows the connection between and Dao Jian Xue , virtuous nature and Dao YU Xue in the Confucian views.
