When I enrolled in this college this summer, it turned out to be true. In this big and beautiful college, along with a number of sports clubs, social associations as well as numerous recreational groups for the students to join. At weekends, there are even more activities of all kinds on campus, which the students can participate in freely. Of course, there also exist many great changes between college life and that of middle school. For instance, in the middle school, in order to pass the National College Entrance Examination, everybody focuses his attention on studies and has very little time to do other things, while in college things are a completely different story. Then, there are more courses for the students to choose from. Among all the differences, the most critical one, in my opinion, lies in the fact that middle school students hardly live an independent life. They are always in the closest care of both their teachers and parents, but in college the students are far away from their dear families and mother-like teachers. So they are brought face to face with all sorts of temptations and distractions, though they are now enjoying far more freedom than ever before. Confronted with such a colorful life and so great changes, however, we college students should never lose our bearings. We must stand up to any temptation and distraction.
