A ccording to natural and socioeconom ic factors, 8 indiceswere selected. Then the comprehensive assessment of vulnerability to drought disaster in T ianjinwas completed w ithmathematicmodels and relative optmi ization methods. Eventually, based on the results of cluster analysis, T ianjinMunicipality region was divided into 5 vulnerability zones of different levelsw ith the toolM apInfo. Research results show thatmost parts of T ianjin are on the low vulnerability level and have a better drought disaster-resistant capasity.
