[Abstract] social capital is embedded in the network of social relations, through the reciprocal exchange of a return to individual value-added resources, but due to the low occupational status of the administrative staff, resulting in a lack of social capital, its upward mobility in the process of information exchange, social credit, identity and opportunity to obtain a negative impact. Therefore, how to change the status quo of social capital is an important issue facing colleges and administrative staff.

With the deepening of reform of the staff of the university administrative staff, upward mobility in their career development promotion has increasingly been a concern of the higher education sector and social circles.
