Conclusion: This study had three Evodia extract certain antioxidant and a dose relationship. Evodia soluble components clear the role of O-2 was significant, with similar effects Vc. Methods: Kreaction of ferrous sulfate and hydrogen peroxide was used to generate OH, with the pyrogallol autoxidation method producing O-2.The removing ability of n butanol extract 1, n butanol extract 2 and ether extract was determined by spectrophotometry.Results: IC50 of scavenging OH for these three kinds of extracts and VC were 145.0,141.0,335.0,2.3 g mL-1 respectively; but the ability of removing O-2 of n butanol extract 1 could not be determined, IC50 of the rest three were 270.0,0.185 and 0.057 5g mL-1 respectively.Conclusion: Three extracts from Evodia rutaecarpa (Juss.) Benth. have some anti oxidation, and showed dose effect relationship.The ability of removing O-2 for liposolubles was very remarkable, and it had similar ability with that of Vc.
