Methods To Survey the patients in Jiangyan county, Jiangsu province about VF and QOL at preoperational and 6 months postoperatively. Results 5319% ( 131 cases) patients accepted tw ice survey. The preoperative av- erage VF and QOL of 131 cases respectively are 501 95 ? 29162 and 6 107? 24190. T he postoperative aver- age VF and QOL of 131 cases respectively are 31 21? 1614 and 61 53 ? 16133. There w as statistically sig- nificant difference between tw o different periods ( tVF = 13125, PVF 01 01, tQOL = 91 5, PQOL 0101) . Conclusions T he cataract surgery operated by blind prevention medical group in short time have improved the VF and QOL of the patients.
