T e study finds t at t e industries suc as petroleum processing, coking and nuclear fuel processing, ave t e largest direct carbon em ission. M eanw ile, t e ig - tec industries, suc as general equipmentmanufacturing, special equipmentmanufacturing, communication equipment, computers and ot er e- lectronic equipmentmanufacturing, ave t e largest carbon em ission caused by final demand. W e also find t at t emanu- facturing sector ave t e largest spillover effect of carbon em issions, mainly on t e energy industry and t e service sectors.
