The principles and techniques of field work can be transplanted to library science research and are suitable for studying the edge zones of librarianship， illustra- ting topics in many ways and demonstrating the rationality and implied meaning of the original object. The existing practices of library science research also proves that the cross between anthropological methods and library science is effective.
