Vol No JOU RNAL OF T HE C HINA RAILWAY SOCIET Y August T B A doi issn j Law of Vibrations Influence of Subway on Metro Depot Superstructure W U Y ubin Z HA N G Bin LIU Yinghua LI Xianhui Beijing M unicipal Institut e of L abour Pro t ectio n Beijing China School of A ero space Engineering T sing hua U niv er sity Beijing China Abstract In recent years the development of properties of subw ay stations has become a ho t spot in the con struction of large cities In order to investigate the inf luence and distribution of metro vibration on metro depot superstructure a field measurement on the vibration on a metro depot in Beijing has been carried out to obtain the vibration data of the ballast bed column and superstructure of the depot A D refined finite element model of the building on metro depot has been established With measured acceleration as input ex citation the multi point input method that considered train driving eff ect w as used to simulate the vibration on the depot super structure on the parallel computation platf orm T he calculating result s agreed w ell w ith the field measurement data T he result s of bo th field measurement and numerical computation show ed that the superstructure w as signif icantly aff ected by metro vibration and the building vibration w as largely vertical T he vibration streng th of f loor w as related to it s natural f requency T he natural f requency of f loor should avoid the main f requency range of subw ay vibration
