Instructions of Mathematics and Integrated Science Admission Test 数学和理科综合试卷考试说明 1. Scope and structure 考试范围及试卷结构 The mathematics and integrated science exam paper involves four components, i.e. Mathematics (30 marks), Physics (20 marks), Chemistry (20 marks), and Applications (30 marks). The duration of the exam is 90 minutes. In order to objectively reflect candidates’ understanding of the knowledge involved in each subject, the first three parts, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, are conducted in Chinese. Meanwhile, the Applications part will be conducted in English to test candidates’ self-taught ability and the adaptability of an English- only environment. The detailed scope is shown below: 数学和理科综合试卷包括数学、物理、化学和综合应用四部分，其中数学 30 分，物理 20 分，化学 20 分，综合应用 30 分。整场考试时长为 90 分钟。为了能够真正的反映考生 对于学科知识本身的掌握和理解，数学、物理和化学这三部分均以考生现有认知水平为基 础，并以中文出题；同时也为了能够反映考生的自学能力和对国际课程全英语教学环境的 适应能力，综合应用这部分会以英文出题。具体考试范围见下表： Exam scope 考试范围 Functions, circle, probability, equations and inequalities, and mathematical Mathematics application problems. 数学 包括函数、圆、概率计算、解方程和解不等式以及数学学科中涉及到 的应用题。 Measurements, mechanics, motions, electromagnetic, light and wave, and Physics experiment designing analysis in Physics. 物理 包括测量、力学、运动学、电磁学和光学以及物理学科中涉及到的实 验数据分析和实验设计。 Chemical reactions, atomic structures, elements and compounds, Chemistry solutions, calculations, and experiment designing analysis in Chemistry. 化学 包括化学反应、原子结构、元素化合物知识、溶液和化学计算以及化 学学科中涉及到的实验数据分析和实验设计。
