Job Titles:Product Marketing Manager – ELP ChinaReporting to:Velinda ChengDiv / Dept:ELP/SMLocation:China - Shanghai
Overall Purpose:To develop build the China ELP market by specializing in market analysis, development of a range of customized China products, development implementation of marketing program and exploration of new business opportunities.
Principal Job Responsibilities (in order of importance and priority):I. Marketing Sales-Accountable for the sales, distribution target for China-To work closely with VP-Sales Marketing China CM in developing the marketing plan for China and implement the plan accordingly. -To identify new business opportunities on a on-going basis by reviewing data collected from market intelligence system, network.-To coordinate follow-up promotion PR programs-To build maintain an active China ELP network, specifically Ministry of Education, China Children Palaces, study groups among teachers principals, publishers, promotion agents, TV other media. etc.-To monitor pricing, marketing budgets, and sales performance against budget on a monthly basis II. Market Research-To work closely with VP-Sales Marketing China CM in developing the market research plan for China and implement the plan accordingly. -To recommend a market intelligence monitoring system by maximizing the available resources, e.g. distributor OS sales team retail team. The intelligence library should include competitive pricing, competitive activities, trade activities, consumer feedbackIII. Product Planning-To monitor evaluate competitive products, specifically products that are popular or newly launched. Work closely with Division’s product planning team SM product testers to evaluate recommend action on a monthly basis IV.
