PAGE 1 Independent Dressing – Shirt On Domain: Self Care – Dressing, Shirt On ABLLS Domain: ULong Range Teaching Objective (LRO): Given the SD “put on your shirt”, while standing within 10 feet of a shirt, the student will put on a shirt, with 90% or better accuracy for two consecutive sessions. Response Definition: Within 3-5 seconds of the SD the student will begin to put their shirt on and will continue until their shirt is fully on. Rationale: increase independencePrerequisites: Pincer grip.Materials: Reinforcers, comfortable shirt with a loose neck.ProcedureBaseline: Using the task analysis on the baseline data sheet run one trial of dressing on three separate occasions. Provide full physical assistance for incorrect and no response. Also do not reinforce the student for correct responses during baseline, reinforce for other behaviours (e.g., “good sitting”, “great looking” etc.). Item lists and teaching program will be modified for each student and phases will be listed on the Teaching Program Sheet.Correction Procedure: Error-interruption. Refer to the ST for further prompt information.Reinforcement Reinforce upon completion of task, even if full physical prompts are used Also – refer to individual child’s reinforcement program.
