References Abstract This report is connected with my MSc. thesis currently under work and builds on my report 026 (30.9.99) in this series. The thesis forms part of my investigation on the feasibility of creating an authoring help tool for controlled language use in technical manuals. In this report I look at the research I have undertaken to this end. I have limited the scope of my thesis to investigate the properties of various programming languages to determine the best possible candidate for the task of building a prototype for technical writer’s help tool.
