Purpose to constitute this standard Many steel and copper pipes and tubes are so far used for marine seawater piping systems, however accidents caused by corrosion are frequently occurred. For the countermeasures thereof, copper alloys are introduced, however the flanges for the copper alloy pipes and tubes have no prescribed form, causing inconvenience for the concerned, therefore this standard shall constitute following demand for establishing domestic integrated standard. Since the copper alloy pipes and tubes are mainly used for the cooling seawater piping systems, only flanges with nominal pressure of 5K is subjected to this time. 2.
