Since the reform and opening up, China has maintained growth in GDP, more than in 2010 Japan became the worlds second largest economy. As the seventh session of the Fifth Plenary Session of the meeting, China proposed a new economic development plan - the adjustment of economic structure, change the focus of economic growth. Consumption and investment as the key to the development of the domestic market, the relationship between consumption and investment research on the development of market economy is significant. This paper describes Chinas current statistics reveal the ratio between consumption and investment, combined with the economic theory of consumption and investment relationship in the economy. Then econometric model come through the establishment of a proportion of total investment spending time series model, and the proportion of total investment in Chinas consumption projections, analysis of expected future of our country the ratio between consumption and investment. Finally, the conclusion: the gap between investment and consumption, from large to small, there is the dynamic ratio between investment and consumption for the current imbalance situation, China should actively encourage consumer spending, adjust the reasonable investment, as far as possible to guide investment and reasonable proportion to the scale of the development of consumption.
