An exciting voice cried out across the wide grassland: The targets found! All people on the ground looked up in the direction of an approaching dark spot. A colorful parachute opened and pulled the descenting module down to earth in a graceful, slow curve. At 6:23, the descenting module of Shenzhou V accurately landed on the target. When the module was about one meter over the ground, a fire from the bottom of the module suddenly burst out and the module landed softly. 　　In no time, helicopters landed about 200 meters away from the module. Search vehicles quickly rushed to the module and the recovery crew jumped out of moving vehicle and dashed towards the spaceship. 　　External surface of the module looked bronze as a result of the burning of the atmosphere and radiated smells of burning. The surface still felt hot. The crowd of people cried out happily as they saw Yang Liwei stood in the module after unfastening his belts, waving to them. 　　At 7:01, Yang Liwei, dressed in milk white space suit waved to the crowd and stepped out of the burned module which had turned bronze. Recovery crew pulled a special chair for him to sit on. That was done according to spaceship piloting practice, which was designed to give Yang Liwei some time to adjust himself to the earth gravity again. Later, cheering crowd raised him up and carried him into an arriving medical ambulance. Necessary checkups were conducted before he was helped into new clothes.
