According to the legend, when Numitor, grandfather of the twins Romulus（罗穆卢斯） and Remus(瑞摩斯), was overthrown by his brother Amulius(阿穆利乌斯), the usurper (篡位者)ordered the twins to be cast into the Tiber River. They were rescued by a she-wolf who cared for them until a herdsman, Faustulus, found and raised them.
