Teaching focus: let students grasp the pronunciation and meaning of new words “pen、eraser” Teaching difficulties: let students finish the listening on page 7. Teaching aids: a tape, computer and some cards. Teaching time: one class Teaching procedure: Step 1: Warm-up 1、Sing the song “hello” together. 2、Greet with students. T: Hello, boys and girls. Ss: Hello, Miss He. 【设计意图】让学生在歌曲中进入课堂,给他们轻松、自然、愉悦的感觉。 Step 2: Revision Review the dialogues learned in part one (Use a ball and ping-pong practise these dialogues with some students) “let’s play a game, OK?” “Let’s play ping-pong.” “OK! let’s.” T: Hello. Alice! Let’s play ping-pong! Alice: Ok, let’s! T: Hi, Tom! Let’s play a game, Ok? Tom: Ok! T: Hello, Jenny! Let’s play! Jenny: Ok, let’s! 【设计意图】用教具与学生练习对话,巩固他们所学的知识。同时,让他们把课本上所学的东西可以用于生活当中。 Step 3: Presentation and Practice. 1、Show the change of words. T: Children, you must look at the change carefully. ( Use the cards “pencil、pencil box、pen” to show the change of words). English is very magical. You’ll make a mistake if you are a little carelessness. Do you see? Ss: yes. 【设计意图】用三张单词卡“pencil-box”、“pencil”、“pen”来给学生展示单词的变化,教育他们以后书写单词的时候要认真细心,一个字母的不同就可能会书写成另外一个单词。 2、Teach the new word “pen”. T: Ok, now let’s listen to the tape how to read the words. Children, are you ready? Ss: yes. T: let our ears do their jobs. ( Play the tape twice to students and let them listen to the pronunciation of “pen” and lead Ss to read the word.) 3、Practise the word several times in games “louder and lower ”. T: Boys and girls, let’s play a game, Ok? Ss: Ok! 【设计意图】用游戏“大声、小声”进行单词的巩固。先让全体同学站起来、 我大声朗读单词,他们要求用小声;我小声朗读单词,他们要求用大声。每 次练习中,出错的同学坐下,最后站着的为胜利者。 4、Stick the card of “pen ” on the blackboard. 5、Teach the new word “eraser”.
