Step 2 Revision Teacher: Yesterday we learnt a science fiction story “Journey to the Centre of the Earth” and we know the writer’s adventure. Was it exciting and frightening ? Students : Yes. Teacher : We also learnt some useful phrases and sentence structures. Let’s have a competition to review what we learnt. (把全班学生分为十一个小组，小组抢答，答对一个給小组加一分) Useful phrases: be based on; speak of; on the shore; be filled with/be full of; fill…with…; give off; set sail for; all of a sudden; get away/ run away; in the distance; fall down from; blow up; escape doing sth.; escape from sp.; hold on to; in terror.
