1 Nothing succeeds like the Appearance of Success If you want a good impression with others, your first concern must be a winning self-image. A person with a losing self-image will never project a winning self-image in others. This kind of persons may fool some people for a while, but his poor self-image will never make it possible for him to relate favorably to the other people. Through the ages, some great philosophers have stated: “You are what you want you are.” It’s imperative to have a winning self-image of yourself if you want to create same impression in others. No matter who you are, everything worthwhile you have is all determined by your self-image. Your happiness is based on it. You will only live one life, and in order to enjoy it, you must have a winning self-image. Since we can all choose how we want to think ourselves, our thoughts should try to be positive and winning. In an attempt to build a winning image, you must begin with the self, otherwise, the image you strive for will be supported by nothing but a sand-like foundation. Any athlete will tell you that you should know you are a winner in order to be one. To many, this message sounds like a double-talk, but it contains a true essential. Although you can apply this short message to anything in your life, I still want to use a athletic as a basis of illustrating my thoughts about self-image because sports involves physical exertion by which desired results can be achieved. 2 How to win love As we know, people are starved for love. They watch endless numbers of films about happy and unhappy love stories and listen to hundreds of trashy songs about love, yet hardly anyone considers that there is anything that needs to be learned about how to win love.
