Research on True Friendship Abstract: In this paper, we describe the information of the subjects. Our instrument for the research is questionnaires. We distribute 30 questionnaires, and we analyze the data of the 26 questionnaires we have resumed. Eventually, we conclude our results about true friendship. Introduction: As computer is more and more popular in public, people become more and more indifferent. To recall people’s memory of friendship, we do this research and pick up different opinions about true friendship. Then we summarize all kinds of materials and put forward our opinion on true friendship. Methodology: The subjects are non-English major sophomores, who respectively come from the College of Civil Engineering. We distributed 30 questionnaires, but only resumed 26 copies. Among the subjects, there are 12 females and 14 males. Since almost everyone has a true friend and they have their own opinions on true friendship, generalizations can be made from the data of the research. The instrument for the research is a questionnaire, which consists of two parts, personal information as the first part and questions on true friendship as the second. The first part involves the subjects’ gender, major and age. The second part involves seven questions. The concrete details are in the appendix. The questionnaires were distributed to the participants in the dormitory. The subjects completed the questionnaire by themselves without consulting with others. After the subjects’ completion of the questionnaires, we collected them and put the results into computer and used Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 to analyze them. Results: 1.
