Travel Report about Japan Heading: Overview Japan is a country situated in northeastern Asia. It is a beautiful city full of its own characteristics. Beautiful scenery, delicious food and pop culture are all attractive. It is worth being visited by people all around the world. Introduction about Its Geography, Climate, and Population Japan is surrounded by the sea of Okhotsk on the North, the China Sea on the South, the Sea of Japan on the West and the Pacific Ocean on the East. And there are many gulfs and bays. The coasts of Japan are very irregular. It is a mountainous country with mountains covering two-thirds of the surface. Many mountains and volcanoes caused more earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, so did more damage. There are also more lakes and rivers in Japan.(world map) Because of Japan’s special situation, at the border of the Pacific Ocean and the Asiatic Continent, the climate change there is very complex. Very distinctive differences exisit in different regions. It is a rainy country with more rain and snow all the year round. As population, Japan is the seventh largest. The formation of its population is very simple. The distribution of people is not balanced because of its physical geography. But the number increases very rapidly. Brief History The form of the Japanese Government is constitutional monarchy. Since its foundation of the empire, there has been reigned a single dynasty. Japanese of any class may be promoted to any civil or public office without distinction. Agriculture in Japan is not so advanced, though Japanese people have improved it by careful cultivation. The food provided by its country is far from sufficient. Industries develop very fast. The fishing industry has been in a flourishing condition since the earliest times.
