Palestine VS. Israel The land used to be called Palestine“.In 1948, because of western powers, in the land which belonged to the Arabs, there is a state out of nowhere named Israel today.During the first world war, Palestine became the colony of Britain.Britain divided it into two parts by Jordan River:the east called Transjordan,and the west still called Palestine.After then,Jewish from all over the world crowded into Palestinian area one after another.In this process,the conflicts that happened between Jewish and local Palestinian were heavier than before each time.In November 1947,according to the U.N. resolution ,there will be The Jewish State and The Arabs State on Palastine area.On May 14, 1948, The state of Israel was announced to establish.However the state of Palestinian didn’t establish.Since then , Israel began to implement the jewish immigration policy in Arab territory.And at the same time , The palestinians began the armed struggle In order to restore national rights.So Israeli and palestinian get into a vicious cycle of revenge and retaliation.At last ,I’m curious that how much do you think Isreal-palestinian conflict has to do with religion,and how much has to do with politics.
