It is the base of all science and engineering, the mother body of burgeoning technology and the important basic course of engineering subjects. Therefore, the physics has become the important basic course offered by higher engineering institutes in world. Its teaching aim is both to make students have systematic physical knowledge and to train their scientific thought method, ability to research problem, so in order to make student have the necessary basic scientific nature for modern science and technology people. The course system of this subject consists of mechanics, thermodynamics, vibration and wave, wave optics, electromagnetics and modern physics, has the stronger systemic quality and the coherence, embodies better the unity of material world and the law recognized which by people. 课程目标students master the basic theory of physics, train their scientific thought, exploration and pioneering spirit, raise their ability to discover, analyze, solve problem, in same time, to make students recognize partly development, achievement of physics and the its application in engineering and technology in order to have necessary base to master knowledge in engineering and technology in the future. 课
