Reading: Can read the reading material quickly and do the exercise correctly. Writing: Can write a plan for their gardens according to the advice by Jia Sixie, using the new words and expressions in the unit. Learning strategy: Catch every opportunity to discuss in English; give as much examples as possible to help student remember the usage of words and expressions. Emotional objectives: Ask students to give advice, which can lead students to learn from each other and they can find the usefulness of English. Cultural awareness: Discuss some agricultural and environmental problems, letting students to learn about some social problems and then they have the conscious to protect the environment.
