According to ISA’s benchmarking analysis of the energy efficiency in the key large and medium-sized enterprises, the same energy-saving equipment may have different performance, for instance, some enterprises can recover as much as 50 kwh per ton TRT while some can only recover 30 kwh. What’s more, China’s overall energy-saving capacity is lagging far behind the global advanced level. (2) Promote industrialization of some new energy-saving technologies and their application within the industry (3) Research and develop some leading-edge energy-efficient technologies used as technological backup and support. * * During the 12th Five-Year Plan period, the iron steel industry in collaboration with the nonferrous, chemical, power and construction material sectors leverage on their own advantages to develop circular economy, promote efficient application of the by-products of the iron steel industry, and achieve low-carbon development in all these sectors.
