Goal is the lowest amount of inventory and inventory costs safeguard production and management needs. Retail trade faced with the customers needs changeful, such as customer orders in advance period is short, procurement cycle is long, give inventory control has brought huge challenge. Wumart supermarket is the a large-scales Chinese retail enterprise, because suppliers delivery uneven level of as well as Wumart Hypermarkets itself inventory to deal with measures the imperfections of, leading to its customer service levels non-performing, orders to meet the rate lower and so on phenomena. To compensate for these problems, employees are forced to increase the amount of a single order, which will undoubtedly increase the inventory control difficult. This issue through analysis xinjiekou Wumart supermarkets stock commodity structure is irrational, merchandise and more sluggish, low inventory turns, out rate and other issues, drawing on ABC classification of inventory management and vendor managed inventory method, proposed inventory management optimization strategies, and strive to reduce inventory levels, improve work efficiency, to enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises, in order to create poor quality, the third profit source.
