Along with the development of embedded system and digital image processing technology, application of image acquisition and wireless transmission technology embedded in life has been paid more and more attention based on. This paper introduces a design of embedded image acquisition and transmission system based on WiFi. In the ARM9S2C2440 embedded hardware platform and transplant Linux operating system as the software development platform, using USB+CMOS camera module and wireless module USB-WIFI, complete the laser scanning line image acquisition and sends the personal computer in wireless mode, receiving and display. Several tests, results show that the system designed in this paper, the cost is low, the volume is small and the installation is very easy, the system is stable, good real-time performance.
