The Engineering Scheme for 20’ Blast Resistance Container 1．General As the client’s requirement, TLC will start to carry on the initial engineering design for the client’s reference. It will be the basis for our further design. 2. Reference Standard ISO 1496-1-2008 series dry container ISO 1496-2-2008 series dry container BS EN 1993-Design of steel structures 3. Technical Requirement Blast resistance The Containerized UPS Unit shall have: Pso (peak pressure) = 80 mbar = 8 kPa Impulse = 4400 mbar ms = 440 kPams Duration of blast wave = 110 ms Structural Structural steel components shall conform to the requirements of BS EN 1993-Design of steel structures. Structural requirement Steel material for lifting plates: S355 SJG2 to EN10027-1 with 3.1.B Certificate. Other steel materials: S235 JRG2 according EN10027-1 with 2.2 certificate. 4. Design Scheme The insulated container will be recommended to the project and shall conform to the ISO Standard. It can be transported by any vehicles, trains and vessels which conform to ISO Standard. Besides, TLC will consider the inner layout for equipment installation according to the Client’s requirement. Reference View 5. Basic Data Structure: 20’ standard dry container within rock wool and steel plate for insulation. Outside Dimension（L×W×H）：mm × 2438mm × 2591mm. Inner Dimension（L×W×H）：mm × 2188mm × 2272mm. Standard door in the back of container, dimension (W x H): 2322mm x 2273mm. French doors in the side panel, dimension (W x H): 2000mm x 1600mm. Thermal insulation properties Total hot leakage rate: 90kcal/h.℃.Detail depends on the related test report. Load capacity Total weight: 24,000kg; Net weight: 4, 000kg; Loading: 20,000kg. Working life: 15 years Blast resistance requirement Explosion-proof illuminating system; Fire monitoring and extinguishing system. 6. Materials Steel materials shall require S355 and S235 which conform to the requirement of EN1002
