His 2008 book The Social Entrepreneur: Making Communities Work aims to provide a practical guide to social entrepreneurship and demonstrate, through his own experiences, that the role of the state has often stifled innovation. Despite his criticisms of government structures, the book shows what can be achieved with perseverance.Julie Fletcher, General Manager, NHS Grampian will deliver a case study on “Collaborating for Wellbeing” in the Plenary.?This will showcase the “See Me, Hear Me” theme, one of three which will be taken forward in Café discussion.?The “See Me Hear Me” Café will include delegates from all three sectors with interests including voice, representation, media, communications, health, mental health, social inclusion, substance abuse, crime and families.A case study within the Café will be delivered by Luan Grugeon
