　1999, 16 (6):712～ 718 Chinese Bulletin of Botany _ 蒋高明　何维明 (　　100093) 　_。 , , 。 LCA4 8 , () _。 。 , 、CO , 2 , 、、、。 　_, , , A Quick New Method for Determining Light Response Curves of Photosynthesis Under Field Light Conditions JIANG Gao_Ming　HE Wei_Ming (Centrefor PlantEcology and Biodiversity Conservation, Institute of Botany , The ChineseAcademy of Sciences, Beijing 100093) A stract　A quick ne method for determining light response curves of photosynthesis under field light conditions has been developed.By using only a potable photosynthesis system (LCA4, UK) under full sunlight condition, e could obtain a series of assimilation rate_light (A_light)response curves by varying the angle of incident light rays to the sensing head to get a series of light intensi- -2 -1 ties (0_2 200 μmol·m ·s )hich ere automatically recorded by the machine, ith the corre- sponding assimilation rates of leaf inside the sensing head being measured simultaneously.Eight arid sandy plant species, (i.e.Salix psammophylla C.Wang et Ch.Y.Yang, Artemisia ordosica Krasch, Hedysarum scoparium Fisch.et Mey., H.laeve Maxim., Caragana intermedia Kuang et H.C.Fu, Sabina vulgaris Ant., Cynanchum komarovii Al_Iljinski, Psammochloa mongolica Hitche)ere tested by this simple method ith good results.During each measurement, environ- mental variables such as air temperature, air humidity and CO concentration but not including leaf 2 temperature changed little, and there existed a significant correlation bet een the measured data and the predicted data.
