FiniteSize Eect of Hadron Masses with KogutSusskind Quarks a a b a c d a S Aoki T Umemura M Fukugita N Ishizuka H Mino M Okawa and A Ukawa a Institute of Physics University of Tsukuba Tsukuba Ibaraki Japan b Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics Kyoto University Kyoto Japan c Faculty of Engineering Yamanashi University Kofu Japan d National Lab oratory for High Energy PhysicsKEK Tsukuba Ibaraki Japan 3 We present numerical results and their analyses of nitesize eects of hadron masses for b oth quenched and 9 full QCD calculations We show that they are much larger for full QCD due to dynamical sea quarks and the v asso ciated breaking of Z symmetry We also argue that nitesize eects are nonnegligible even for the largest o lattice size simulation currently b eing made for a very small quark mass N 9 Intro duction p erio dic b oundary condition is imp osed on sea 2 and valence quarks in the spatial directions It In this rep ort we summarize a comparative is evident in Fig that the magnitude of nite 9 study of nite size eects for hadron masses in size eects is much smaller for quenched QCD 4 quenched and full QCD with the KogutSusskind than for full QCD esp ecially b elow La fm 0 quark action Our motivation for the study is The size dep endence is also signicantly weaker 1 1 rst to examine whether the impression obtained for quenched QCD assuming a p ower law L m 3 from previous quenched studies that nitesize ef L we nd for quenched QCD as 9 fects are p
