A nd hyperbranched silicone poly mers above wer e pr epar ed by hy dr olysis reactio ns of deio nized water , aminopropy lt rietoxisilan ( KH550) and T EOS. T he hydrophilic silico ne rubber s w ere analyzed and characterized by four ier tr ansfor m infrared spectro scopy ( FT IR) , the contact angle measurement, and t he physical pr operties of rubbers w ere test ed. Results r eveal that the hyperbranched silicone poly mer s can sig nificantly improv e the hy dr ophilicity of silicone rubbers, the contact angles of silicone rubber and w ater decr ease, and t he mechanical properties of hydrophilic silico ne rubber s ar e impr oved to some extent.
