西方中国史研究文献讲读 研究生课程，2009-2010春季学期。复旦大学历史系 孙英刚 021O) syg@fudan.edu.cn 光华西主楼2817室 周三，3，4节。教室2112A。 课程介绍 通过研读西方中国史研究的代表性著作，引导学生熟悉西方主要的研究套路、理论、潮流，结合自身的研究，提高学术素质。本课程围绕历史与社会，宗教与信仰，思想与文化等方面，从影响中国史研究的重要词汇入手，将其返回到西方学术潮流中去，揭示其自身学术背景和脉络。引导学生以批判的眼光，对现在中国史研究中的一些理路重新审视。 要求： 一周阅读1本书加几篇文章，或者两本书。写出1本书或者1-2篇文章的读书报告。最晚在下个周二的晚上12点之前通过电子邮件提交老师。可在所有课题中选择10个，每个读书报告满分5分。总共占最后成绩的50%。读书报告单倍行距，不得超过1200字。 最后提交一份自己相关领域的Proposal，可模仿开题报告形式。阐述自己将来的毕业论文（或课题申请）如何对旧有知识有所增益。自己的研究对于西方中国学研究理论与潮流，有如何的批评和增补，或者如何受其启发。要求单倍行距15-20页。需提交正式文本。占最后成绩的30%。 课堂讨论，占20%。 Week 1: Organizational meeting and Introduction 2: The Problem of “Medieval” Harbans Mukhia, “Medieval India：An Alien Conceptual Hegemony?” The Medieval History Journal, 1, 1, (1998)91-105.
